Drywall: flexible building without wet trades
In drywall construction, walls and ceilings are built from plasterboard fixed to a frame of metal profiles. As there is no mortar or concrete that needs to dry, rooms can be used again quickly and layouts can be changed without major building work.
What we do
- Partition walls: a new room layout, for example an extra children's room, a home office or a separate storage room.
- Wall linings: straight wall surfaces in front of uneven masonry, with space behind for cables and insulation.
- Ceilings: suspended ceilings and ceiling linings, for example to conceal cables or adjust the room height.
- Sloping ceilings: lining loft spaces as part of interior finishing.
- Surfaces: jointing and filling to a paint-ready finish.
Drywall and cables
A big advantage of drywall is that cables and empty conduits can be run inside the wall cavity before the boards are closed. We handle this as part of our cable laying service. The connection is made later by a licensed electrician.
How it works
After a free consultation, where we discuss measurements, use and your wishes, you receive a quote. On site, we first build the frame, add insulation and conduits if required, fix the boards and fill the joints. The walls can then be painted or wallpapered straight away, which we also offer as part of renovation.
